Celebrate the Bank Holiday with jazz and cocktails.
To celebrate Manchester Jazz Festival, the city’s longest-running musical festival, The Ivy Spinningfields will host a special weekend of live entertainment for guests of the Ivy Brasserie this Bank Holiday.
The Saturday (May 25) will see a DJ take to the decks from 1pm to 6pm, accompanied by a sax percussionist duo from 1pm to 3.30pm. While those dining on Sunday, (May 26) will be able to enjoy a show-stopping live jazz-soul trio performing three exclusive sets at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.
As well as live entertainment, the Ivy Brasserie will also be serving up two limited-edition cocktails available until May 27. The ‘Big Easy’ (£9.95) will feature Courvoisier V.S.O.P, Fragola strawberry liqueur, lemon juice and Peychaud’s bitters.
While the tantalising ‘In The Mood’ (£8.50) will incorporate Wyborowa vodka, Chambord, Frangelico, passion fruit puree and a dash of cranberry juice.
Situated on the ground floor, the Ivy Brasserie is open all day, seven days a week, serving modern British classics to suit all occasions. The all-encompassing menu features a variety of dishes including truffled orzo pasta, lobster linguine and slow-cooked lamb shoulder.
