Looking for something a bit spicy to do this bank holiday weekend? Well, look no further as GRUB brings the spirit of Mexico to town with a special Taco Fest featuring some of their favourite traders who peddle the ultimate street food on Sunday 5 and Monday 6 May, coinciding with Cinco de Mayo on Sunday.
Spend two days with GRUB for some full on Mexicana vibes sponsored by Olmeca Tequila, with cocktails, coffee, desserts, tunes, craft beer and of course tonnes of tacos!
There’ll be plant-based Mexican inspired tacos and burritos courtesy of Nina’s Tacos, fusion bangers from vegan wizards Wholesome Junkies (try their Katsu phish and chips), Noble’s Kitchen will be serving up some Cinco de Mayo specials with pulled pork and beef brisket tacos, and if you like more pescatarian fare when it comes to your tortilla snacks then check out Pez Tacos and their ceviche and cali fish tacos.
Manchester favourite Rio-Mex will also be handing out their very own tacos, and Mary’s Cakery Makery will make a surprising sweet contribution to the festival. Of course, you can’t have tacos without tequila, and it wouldn’t be a complete Cinco de Mayo celebration either, so Olmeca Tequila will have a wide menu to cater to every taste.
Something for everyone, provided you’re into tacos − and we don’t know why you wouldn’t be.
Taco Fest at GRUB will take place from 12pm−7pm on Sunday 5 May, and 12pm−6pm on Monday 6 May. Get into the conversation and keep up with updates here
GRUB’s themed food fairs are always very well attended and it’s recommend that large groups book a table here.
📍 GRUB is located at 50 Red Bank, Cheetham Hill, Manchester M4 4HF.
