Looking for something a bit spicy to do for May bank holiday weekend? Well, look no further as GRUB brings the spirit of Mexico to town with a special Taco Fest featuring some of their favourite traders who peddle the ultimate street food on Sunday 4 and Monday 5 May, coinciding with Cinco de Mayo on Monday.
Spend two days with GRUB for some full on Mexicana vibes, with cocktails, sides, desserts, tunes, craft beer, sodas, good times and of course tonnes of tacos!
GRUB will have five of the city’s very best street food traders cooking all weekend, bringing their own take on the humble taco plus other specials. There’ll be plant-based tacos and burritos courtesy of Nina’s Tacos, Mexican fare from Enchilady and El Piloto Tacos, and if you like more pescatarian fare when it comes to your tortilla snacks then check out Pez Tacos and their ceviche and cali fish tacos.
Plus, Munchie Mummy’s will be making a surprising sweet contribution to the festival. Of course, you can’t have tacos without tequila, and it wouldn’t be a complete Cinco de Mayo celebration either, so GRUB is offering buy one get one free margaritas for anyone that books a table in advance from our special pop-up margarita bar!
Something for everyone, provided you’re into tacos − and we don’t know why you wouldn’t be.
Taco Fest at GRUB will take place from 12pm−8pm on Sunday 4th May, and 12pm−6pm on Monday 5th May. GRUB’s themed food fairs are always very well attended and it’s recommend that large groups book a table here.
📍 GRUB is located at 50 Red Bank, Cheetham Hill, Manchester M4 4HF.
