We love all kinds of festivals here in Manchester, whether it be of the music, beer, or food variety. Now, following on from the success of popular festival Block Party in Manchester city centre, the event is heading to Stockport. Aptly named Stock Party, the free event will see a host of independent operators come together to put on a packed day of entertainment, food, drink and family activities around Stockport town centre.
Organised by Where The Light Gets In, Track, Cloudwater, Robinsons Brewery, Sureshot, Balance and Runaway, the event is taking place on Saturday 7 June from 12pm – 9pm and will celebrate the town’s thriving independent scene and rich brewing history.

Robinsons Brewery on Lower Hillgate will be home to the main festival square and bar, pouring the freshest beers from each of the breweries and a DJ set curated by Bohemian Arts Club to ensure a party atmosphere. The festival will, for the first time, be expanding beyond the Underbanks, encompassing the famous Stockport Market Hall – so you can bet it’s going to be the biggest Stock Party yet.
For those who prefer a pinot noir to a pint, Isca will be on hand serving up a selection of their natural wines, plus there’ll be a BBQ by Where The Light Gets and sourdough pizza from Honest Crust.

Incredible food and drink pop-ups will line Stockport’s iconic Underbanks. The Cloudwater bar will serve their freshest brews straight from the tap alongside Bruk, Marley’s Tacos, Café San Juan, Cantaloupe, Yellowhammer, Little Scarves, and more. The streets will be alive with music across multiple stages, each curated by some of Stockport’s most exciting collectives, including MØ6B, SK1 Records, PINK and Ōdiobā.

The legendary SK1 Stage also returns, featuring a standout lineup of DJs performing in the Underbanks, with the Red Bull pub and Bruk keeping the music going all day long – the energy truly never dwindles.
Entry to Stock Party is completely free, and it takes place on Saturday 7th June, 12pm-9pm.
