Manchester’s passion for a good festival is heading south once again, as Stock Party returns to take over Stockport for a full day of independent food, drink, and culture this July. Taking place on Saturday, July 4, from 12pm to 9pm across Stockport Town Centre, covering both the Market Hall and the Underbank. Best of all, entry is completely free.
What to expect at Stock Party

Organised by a powerhouse line-up—including Where The Light Gets In, Track, Cloudwater, and Robinsons Brewery—this year’s event is set to be the biggest yet. As in previous years, the festivities will expand beyond the Underbank to include the iconic Stockport Market Hall, celebrating the town’s thriving independent scene and rich brewing history.
Stock Party Festival Square

The main festival square at Robinsons Brewery will serve as the central hub, featuring fresh pours from Sureshot, Balance, and Runaway. For those who prefer grapes over grains, Isca will be on hand with a curated selection of natural wines. The food line-up is equally impressive, featuring a massive BBQ from Where The Light Gets In, sourdough pizzas from Honest Crust, and various pop-ups like Marley’s Tacos and Café San Juan lining the Underbank.
A lively soundtrack from local businesses

The streets will be buzzing with multiple stages curated by local collectives such as SK1 Records, MØ6B, and Ōdiobā. The legendary SK1 Stage returns to the Underbank to anchor the day, while the Red Bull pub and Bruk ensure the energy never dwindles with DJ sets running until the 9pm finish.
How to get to Stockport from Manchester
Getting to Stockport couldn’t be easier. Trains tend to leave Manchester Piccadilly in the Stockport direction every 10 minutes, with some stopping locally and others zooming straight through.
The main town centre where all the Stock Party fun can be found is just a 10 minute walk from the train station.
