Fans of the Disney movie Lilo & Stitch can say “Aloha!” to a Stitch-themed cafe situated inside Manchester Trafford Centre Primark. Following on from the store’s pop-up Grinch-themed cafe, which was based at the Trafford Palazzo site before Christmas, the “cute and fluffy” character from the much-loved 2002 film Lilo & Stitch has taken over.
Step into the Stitch Surf Shack and you’ll find a full menu featuring a range of milkshakes, fresh fruit smoothies and other hot and cold drinks to sip on. Choose from the likes of the bubblegum-flavoured Surf Shack Shake, Hawaiian slushies, Sunrise Punch or Pacific Berry Burst smoothies, Coco-offee, Coco-choccee and Tropical Tea.
Plus, you can tuck into the likes of Surfboard Subs – choose from either Classic Margarita or Hawaiian Rollercoaster ride with ham and pineapple. You can also indulge in some sweet treats in the form of waffles too
The Stitch-themed cafe at Primark will be offering up a Sunset Strawberry Waffle served with strawberry ice cream, drizzled with strawberry sauce and topped with strawberries, sprinkles and whipped cream. There is also the Tidal Twist Bubblegum Waffle with vanilla ice cream, drizzled with bubblegum sauce and topped with blueberries, sprinkles and whipped cream.
A Primark spokesperson said: “Customers in Trafford can now say ‘Aloha’ to Disney’s Stitch Surf Shack. From now until March, our Primarket café has been transformed into a Hawaiian paradise, the perfect place for customers to relax, recharge and enjoy a limited-edition menu.”
As well as the cafe serving up Stitch-themed food and drink, Primark shoppers can also find plenty of Disney Stitch-themed goodies to get their hands on too, with everything from Lilo & Stitch onesies and hoodies, to trainers, slippers and sliders. The Stitch collection is available in Primark stores across the UK – go to the Primark website to browse the range and check stock in your local store.
But remember, “‘Ohana’ means ‘family’. ‘Family’ means ‘no one gets left behind.'” so be sure to bring your family and friends with you if you plan to visit. Disney’s Stitch Surf Shack is now open until March and the cafe opening hours are 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, 10am to 5.30pm on Saturdays and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sundays.
