
The UK’s biggest Six Nations fan zone is returning to Freight Island, transforming the huge venue into a haven for rugby lovers. To mark the return of the Six Nations fan zone, Freight Island will be giving away up to 20,000 free pints and prosecco to all ticket holders.
Throughout the Six Nations tournament, from Friday 31st January to Saturday 15th March, rugby enthusiasts can expect to enjoy the matches on big screens, in an incredible atmosphere with a quality musical line-up. Featuring live performances from the likes of Dizzy Brasscals, Pent Up Pipes, Neeva Zahra, plus DJs including Paul Eden and some very special guests.

Adding to the excitement, the fanzone will have an exclusive collaboration with Blackeye Gin, founded by England legends James Haskell, Mike Tindall, and renowned broadcaster Alex Payne. Guests can expect special sampling and tasting events with Blackeye Gin, with the founders live on screens at Freight Island to accompany the sporting action.
The fan zone will also host an in-venue giveaway including signed match balls from Six Nations tournament, and more. Additionally, Freight Island is partnering with The EggChasers Rugby Podcast, who will deliver live podcasts, as well as fan content, pre-game and post-game coverage throughout the tournament.

Freight Island’s Six Nations fan zone promises more than just great rugby – with epic entertainment, paired with tasty food and exclusive drink options, it’s set to be “the ultimate destination for rugby fans in Manchester and beyond”. The much-loved independent traders at Freight Island will also be there throughout, including Fuku, Mia’s Arepas, Burgerism, Voodoo Ray’s, Mega Gyros, Oh! My Cheesecake, and Soft Boi.
Plus, Pattersons is set to launch their new ‘Pattersons American Buffet’, all for £18 per tray, every Sunday serving up half chicken brined and deep fried in Pattersons house spice mix, or a vegetarian Nut Roast option, plus an all-you-can-eat sides including sweet potato, corn salsa, tater tots, cheesy grits, home-made corn bread, and famous gravy. For the ultimate feast, an extra special whole deep-fried chicken is also available for pre-order only.

How to get a free pint or prosecco at the Six Nations fan zone
Free pint of ‘Freight Island pilsner’ or a glass of Prosecco up for grabs for all ticket holders. Valid for one person per ticket and guests must arrive no later than an hour before each kick off time to redeem the free drinks.
Freight Island’s opening hours in February and March are Friday (4pm – 12am), Saturday (12pm – 12am), and Sunday (12pm – 8pm). On select brunch dates, earlier opening hours will apply.
