Shrimp Shack, the seafood restaurant known for its bold flavours, generous portions and cult following, is making its Manchester debut. Opening at Printworks Manchester, the new opening marks the restaurant’s first venture outside the capital and aims to make seafood dining an accessible and fun experience.
Shrimp Shack was founded in December 2023 by three entrepreneurs, Balal Aqil (founder of Creams), Rish Gola and Raf Adam. Originally opening the first site in Streatham, London, the brand went on to launch its second London location in Camden in July 2024.
What to expect at Shrimp Shack Manchester
Diners can expect signature Shrimp Shack favourites such as their iconic boils: the Shrimp Boil, the Seafood Boil, and the Lux Lobster Boil. Each is loaded with shrimp, succulent seafood selections, and classic accompaniments such as sausages, corn on the cob, boiled egg, spiced rice and peri chips. All served in the brand’s signature secret sauce.
You’ll also find the Shack Savers Selection on the menu, priced at just £19.95, which offers guests a choice of five hearty dishes. Choose from the likes of Battered Fish & Shrimps, The Big Steak (12oz wagyu steak), Grilled Salmon with Prince Shrimps, Surf & Turf (8oz wagyu steak with Prince Shrimps), or Grilled Shrimp & Fried Calamari. Each dish is served with two sides and a choice of signature sauces, with a wide selection of sides ranging from fries and rice to mash and garden salad.
The Shrimp Shack Lunch Menu also offers £10 dishes, featuring favourites such as the Shrimp Rich Po’ Boy in a brioche roll with fries and garlic dipping butter, the Double Cheese Smash Stack Burger, and the vegetarian-friendly Beyond Burger. Guests can upgrade with the Lovin’ Lobster Roll for an additional £5.
To complete the experience, Shrimp Shack will serve refillable soft drinks, freshly blended smoothies, indulgent milkshakes, mocktails and sharing jugs designed for groups. Shrimp Shack at Manchester Printworks will also boast a range of cocktails and pitchers, as well as wines, beers and spirits.
