San Carlo is bringing the Mediterranian to Manchester.
Known for its expansive menu of authentic Italian cuisine, San Carlo is bringing a slice of the Amalfi coast to Manchester from today, with a brand new alfresco dining terrace inspired by the beautiful Mediterranian country.
Aptly named Il Giardinio di Aprile – The Garden of April – the stunning terrace provides a completely covered open-air experience, ensuring we can comfortably drink and dine, whatever the weather.
Brought to life by Manchester-based Taylor Lynn Corporation, the Italian garden will seat 100 diners under its stunning marquee, with social distancing and weather-proofing in mind when bringing the new space to life. Guests can relax in the knowledge that all tables comply with the current government COVID guidelines, while also staying warm thanks to the pashminas provided on each seat and plentiful patio heaters.
In true TLC Ltd style, no expense has been made – and guests can expect an Italian wonderland upon entering the gorgeous terrace. We’re talking a stunning 14-foot blossom tree bang in the centre, 14-foot high vases of yellow forsythia, an abundance of lush greenery and a combination of coloured terracotta urns. Ambient lighting has also been dotted throughout, providing a romantic, Italian atmosphere for diners to enjoy something a little more special after months in lockdown.
Managing director Marcello Distefano said of the new terrace: “After such a difficult year, we wanted to create a true escape for people, we want them to feel like they’ve been transported to somewhere very special, somewhere that’s out of reach to us right now,
“We hope people will love it as much as we do.”
Bookings for the new garden are open now, and you can secure your table directly with the restaurant here.
