Sam Smith has just announced two shows in Manchester for later in the year, with the residency of shows coming as part of their ‘To Be Free: Live’ tour. They will play two gigs at Manchester’s Albert Hall on September 3 and 4, followed by eight nights at London’s Coliseum.
Before the UK shows, Sam Smith will also play a residency of four shows in Mexico City, as well as a gig in Guadalajara in August.

The residencies begin around the time of Sam Smith releasing their fifth studio album, Hazel Eyes, which is set to drop on August 21, following Gloria from 2023. Last week, Sam Smith also released their latest single from the album, My Guy, which you can listen to now.
Sam Smith’s last London headline shows came back in April 2023, when they performed a pair of huge nights at the O2 Arena. The ‘To Be Free’ actually began last year, when Sam Smith performed a residency of shows in Brooklyn, NYC, followed by another set in San Francisco.

Tickets to the ‘To Be Free’ shows in London and Manchester go on general sale on Friday, July 10. You can also sign up for pre-sale tickets by pre-ordering Hazel Eyes via Sam Smith’s website.
