The space has been unused since the Birdcage’s departure.
Expanding its presence across Manchester city centre even further this month, Roxy Ball Room is set to take over the iconic Birdcage site on Withy Grove – marking their 10th site in the UK.
Complete with six full-size bowling lanes, twelve holes of ‘Crazy Pool’ and a brand new bar, the latest addition to the Manchester scene is set to be as fun as ever, complimenting their existing Deansgate venue.
The new venue will provide Mancs with an alternative to the bar scene, offering American Pool, Shuffleboard, Olympic standard Ping Pong, Beer Pong and arcade games – with a bar and food menu to accompany the action and a playlist of indie classics setting the vibe.
Designed for over-18s, the 17,000 square foot entertainment spot has a number of tricks up its sleeve for its brand new opening – which officially opened its doors last Friday – including Bank Shot Shuffleboard, which will be making its debut later this year. The menu will be packed with American favourites such as burgers and wings, as well as nachos and stone-baked pizzas, with sixteen draught lines and a menu of cocktails to choose from to wash it all down with.
Brand Development Manager Joel Mitchell, said: “Our venue on Deansgate has proved hugely popular with the Manchester community and so we’re really excited to be expanding with a second site in the city centre. Our new venue features some of the games our existing customers have already come to know and love, with a few new additions that you won’t be able to get anywhere else”
“We pride ourselves on offering a fun environment for our customers and staff to enjoy. We want to reassure customers that the Roxy Ball Room experience will be safe but uncompromised. It goes without saying that our venues and staff have undertaken and implemented strict risk assessments and hygiene measures across each Roxy Ball Room.”
The venue will be following COVID-safe guidelines, with opening hours adjusted to abide by the 10pm curfew. Open Wednesday-Sunday, guests can check out the brand new venue from 3pm during the week, and from 12 noon on weekends. Food and drink can be ordered via the QR code scanning system, allowing for as little contact as possible with others.
Roxy Ball Room can be found at Unit R3, Withy Grove, Manchester, M4 3AQ.
