Award-winning canal-side bar and eatery Roby 1844 is officially reopening this month with a weekend filled with fantastic offers and entertainment. Reopening over the bank holiday weekend, from 28th April visitors will be able to enjoy a complimentary cocktail or shot on arrival, along with a 25% off offer on food (28th – 30th April) and live music daily from artists, Lucy Masings, Ian Lawton and Jaie Lupton.
The reopening comes as bank holidays and celebrations come into full swing, with Roby 1844 welcoming customers to enjoy any sunny weather sat on the banks of Rochdale Canal. The terrace now also benefits from the sights of Kampus just down the canal, offering wonderful views of their tropical courtyard garden that springs into life with nice weather.
For those who would like to enjoy the bank holiday weather, diners are invited to experience the first ever Roby BBQ Grill from 12pm ‘til late on Saturday 29th, including free canapes such as Peri-Peri chicken, beef chimichurri skewers and halloumi and vegetable skewers.
Roby 1844 will be open Thursday to Sunday each week and will be serving up a delicious new menu of small plates, burgers, sandwiches, sharers, salads, and pizzas in collaboration with artisan pizza makers PizzaSi.
The Roby BBQ Grill will take place every Saturday from 2pm – 6pm over the summer months and visitors can also expect an exciting line-up of additional upcoming events, including an afternoon tea celebration for the King’s Coronation over the weekend of 5th – 8th May, and a Eurovision Party from 12th – 14th May.
