Joining a number of dazzling winter displays that are set to have Christmas 2022 absolutely sparkling, including Heaton Park’s spectacular Lightopia show and Dunham Massey‘s annual light trail, RHS Bridgewater has announced the return of their Glow event, which promises to have the RHS garden absolutely glowing this winter.
Transforming all five gardens that make up RHS Bridgewater in Worsley, Salford, guests can expect a stunning illuminated trail, which will light up the gardens’ impressive trees and plants along the way. Plus, Glow returns with a new trail full of festive colour and sparkle, where visitors can weave their way through yew domes festooned with fairy lights, explore a magical family discovery trail inspired by local folklore and take a selfie with giant, colour-changing stars.
Experience the lovely site in a ‘whole new light’, with views of sparkling trees, shrubs and water features basking in the glow, bringing a festive feel to the place that’s never been seen before. Some of the garden’s best-loved locations will be included in the trail, too, including the Weston Walled Garden, Chinese Streamside Garden and Ellesmere Lake.
Walk through the garden admiring magnificent trees and shrubs bathed in a spectrum of light. Enjoy colourful projections and hundreds of lights twinkling across the garden walls and Orchard lawn, before arriving at Moon Bridge Water to experience a dramatic fountain display, full of colour and music.
In addition to the new twinkling adventure, guests can also enjoy a selection of warming drinks and tasty festive treats throughout the gardens, with a little something for everyone to enjoy this winter.
Kicking off from November 16th until December 30th, RHS Bridgewater Glow will be open on selected dates, with tickets starting at £6 per adult for members, and £12 per adult for non-members. Find out more here.
