London has had members club in the city for many years, but now it’s Manchester’s turns for a little bit of exclusivity. Soho House was the first to announce that they would be bringing their members club up North, but now there’s another club coming to Manchester, Queen Street Members Club, who will pip them to the post as it opens very soon.
Located on none-other-than Queen Street near Spinningfields in Manchester, the members club happens to be on the site of iconic former Press Club, so the exclusive nature remains in its hallowed walls. Set to open on October 5, the new members’ club takes inspiration from renowned London venue BEAT, one of the capital’s most exciting and renowned venues located in the famous Fitzrovia district.
What is Queen Street Members Club in Manchester?
Much like Soho House (which is earmarked to open in Manchester in 2025) and other member brands, Queen Street Members Club will be designed for those seeking an exclusive night out, with the private club bringing a new level of elegance to Manchester’s party scene. The interiors of the venue blend sleek black leather with opulent gold touches, a bespoke lighting system as its centrepiece and the latest Funktion One sound system.
The Manchester members club will also have a DJ roster consisting of both local and global talent each week and their private club will also be available for members to hire, where guests can create a fully customised party. Plus, what also sets this members’ club apart is that it will be one of few Manchester venues that will stay open until 6am on weekends, so the party – however private it may be – doesn’t stop until you say it does.
Marc Merran, Owner of Queen St Members Club, BEAT London and Inca said: “We are thrilled to bring this brand new members’ club concept to Manchester. A first of its kind, Queen St is set to become the city’s premier destination for those craving an elevated nightlife experience that mirrors the London members’ club market.”
