As the nights become colder and draw in earlier, we see the return of Bonfire Night once again, however one Manchester venue is set to bring a unique firework spectacular for the occasion. Hosting a firework display with a difference, Manchester’s Printworks is set to light up the city in spectacular style this Bonfire Night with a series of digital firework displays.
On Tuesday 5th November, from 5pm to 8pm, Printworks’ digital ceiling – the largest of its kind in Europe – will transform into an immersive masterpiece, capturing the grandeur of a traditional fireworks show. With cutting-edge technology, the display will recreate the explosive brilliance of real fireworks through vivid, captivating visuals. The free event aims to be an alternative for those looking to avoid large crowds yet enjoy all the excitement of a live show whilst staying warm and dry this Bonfire Night.
Families can unwind in a cosy chill-out zone, complete with plush beanbags and warm blankets, providing the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the digital fireworks from. From 5pm to 6pm, CBeebies’ presenter Nigel Clarke will host a special “relaxed hour”, sharing campfire stories with an option for children to listen through headsets, creating an intimate and engaging experience for young audiences. And from 6pm to 8pm, a DJ will amp up the festivities by playing pop classics.
Plus, families can enjoy complimentary toffee apples and pick up free fibre optic wands – a safe and dazzling alternative to sparklers – while watching the spectacular digital fireworks. These treats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early in order to not miss out.
Kristian Brennan, Marketing Manager for Printworks, commented: “This year, we’re excited to present a truly unique alternative to the traditional firework display.
