Who doesn’t love a freebie? Especially free food. Well, listen up pastry lovers as this National Croissant Day (Thursday 30th January), Pret is celebrating the nation’s love for flaky treats by giving away 300 free croissants in Manchester for the occasion.
To celebrate National Croissant Day, the Pret shop on Cross Street in Manchester will be exclusively giving away 300 free croissants – and you can take your pick from all butter, chocolate or almond croissants. But the one condition to bag yourself a free croissant is you’ll need to purchase a coffee and say the password ‘Happy Croissant Day’.
Proving that the UK’s love for pastries is far from flaky is none other than Manchester as Pret has found out which city in the UK is the most croissant crazy and it just so happens to be the Pret location on Cross Street. Plus, did you know that Pret customers devour around 17 million pastries a year? That’s enough for pastries to stretch from London to Paris seven times!
