The Ultimate good boy!
A brave sausage dog who helped his police officer owner arrest a wanted man while off-duty has been winning hearts on Twitter.
Just before dinner off duty PC BESWICK was out walking his dog when he sighted a male who was wanted recall to prison. Armed only with PD RALPH he approached the male and detained him whilst notifying officers on the phone.

Greater Manchester Police Ashton said off duty PC Beswick was out walking his dog just before dinner when he sighted a male who was wanted recall to prison.
Armed only with PD Ralph he approached the male and detained him whilst notifying officers on the phone.
After the incident, GMP Ashton tweeted a picture of the pint-sized pup standing proudly on the bonnet of a police car with the hashtag #canibeapolicedog. Officers said it was a ‘great first arrest from PD Ralph’.
Twitter users were, understandably, delighted and were quick to praise the loyal doggo.
AllieK said: “Well done PC Beswick.. Good job you had PD Ralph with you though.. Great job.”
Garry Campbell added: “We shall all sleep safer in our beds tonight, knowing PD Ralph is out there.”
While Oldham Mountain Rescue Team said it wasn’t the first time Ralph had been caught ‘impersonating professional working dogs’ and shared a picture of him perched on a search and rescue vehicle.
This isn’t the first time that little Ralph has been caught impersonating a professional working dog. Here he is trying to pass as one of our Search and Rescue Dogs. #CanIBeASearchDog 🐶💕🐾 pic.twitter.com/V2wL4WKZ9A
