After proving popular in the likes of London and Dublin, a state-of-the-art indoor golf and shuffleboard bar is opening in Manchester this September. Known as Pitch, the new putting spot will open in Goods Yard, located in the St John’s area of Manchester, joining the likes of Caravan, The Trading Route, Aviva Studios and Fenix and aims to “change the way the sport is played”, making golf more diverse and accessible to all.
Pitch Manchester will feature 10 versatile Trackman golf simulator bays (five bays reserved for members only and five bays accessible for non-members) where you can practice your swing, alongside a custom club-fitting bay and shuffleboards. Each bay is equipped with Ultra HD Trackman golf bays with seating for up to 10 guests, including sofas, screens for viewing and bar service.

The indoor golf bar set to open to the public on September 18 will include high-tech simulator technology to “accurately recreate the experience of real golf” with a variety of formats and locations to ‘transport’ yourself to. Golfers, advanced or beginner, can aim for a whole in one at the likes of the Old Course at St Andrews Links or California’s Pebble Beach. Pitch Manchester will also feature an academy space offering golf training, social golf and corporate golf and networking event for women golfers to take part in.
Plus, Pitch Manchester will also be the home of the second ‘TRENDYGOLF Concept Store’ in the country, stocking popular brands such as J Lindeberg, Hugo Boss, Manors, Malbon Golf, Ralph Lauren and G/FORE. Golf enthusiasts can also experience the Clubhouse Golf Fitting Studio, offering products and fitting services from leading golf brands.

At the heart of the venue sits a central bar and lounge, overlooking the buzzing square at Goods Yard through floor-to-ceiling windows. The bar provides an ideal setting for daytime working, relaxed socialising, or a bite to eat before some friendly competition in the simulator bays. Golf enthusiasts can also compete in ongoing competitions with sponsored prizes.
A bespoke sound system and lounge area will serve locally sourced craft brews, modern wines, handcrafted cocktails, and a curated menu of Asian-inspired dishes, featuring the likes of Char siu buns, crispy duck spring rolls and chicken dumplings. Plus, curated premium drinks by Kingfisher Drinks including Sapporo, Sagres, Kingfisher Premium Lager, Yeastie Boys Bigmouth IPA, and more.
Chris Ingham, Pitch co-founder, said: “We’re excited to launch Manchester’s first premium indoor golf experience, giving Pitch a presence in one of the UK’s biggest hubs of sport and culture. We look forward to welcoming Manchester’s likeminded community to become part of the growing innovation for modern golfing at Pitch.”
