There’s a new lunch hotspot in town.
City centre pizzeria Ciaooo Pizza has officially opened its second site in Manchester city centre just last year – joining its existing Swan Street premises as one of our go-to spots for authentic Italian grub. But the new site isn’t Ciaooo as you know it. In fact, it’s filling the gaps between the Italian food that they currently serve, and all that was missing – as well as giving Mancs a new place to enjoy fantastic pasta while they’re at it. But one beautiful thing that does pair to two foodie spots together? Their love of Burrata.
Joining the likes of Viet Shack and Wholesome Junkies at Arndale Market, Piazza MCR offers up hearty pasta dishes “to-go” style, with tasty homemade dishes providing the comfort and flavour we’re already familiar with from the pizzeria. If you’ve already tried Ciaooo’s deep-fried lasagne, you’ll know you’re in for a real treat at Piazza.
Each dish is served in a takeaway pot for you to ‘grab and go’ when you’re on your lunch or just fancy a quick bite to eat, with vegan, veggie and meaty options available to choose from. The concept follows a ‘build you own’ system, where guests can choose exactly what they’d like on their pasta (as well as the pasta shape), creating the perfect custom dish for guests.
Opt for the likes spaghetti, penne and rigatoni, and top with cheeses, pesto, tomato sauces and more – before adding the finishing touches such as meatballs and, of course, parmesan (because is it really a bowl of pasta without parmesan?).
Piazza MCR is open now at the Arndale Food Market, 49 High St, M4 3AH.
