We’re proud of all of our many musicians, performers and comedians in Greater Manchester, but none stir up quite the frenzy as much as Bolton‘s own Peter Kay, and now he’s making a trip back home. Comedy legend Peter Kay is set to return home to the Albert Halls in Bolton for four very special hometown shows in July 2026, his first performances at the venue in over 20 years.
Taking to the very stage where he recorded the UK’s biggest-selling stand-up DVD, this marks a truly unique and nostalgic hometown homecoming for one of Britain’s most beloved comedians. All profits will support the local Bolton Hospice.

The Bolton dates come ahead of Peter’s ‘Final Show‘ at Manchester’s AO Arena, bringing to an end a mammoth run of his ‘Better Late Than Never‘ tour – so named as a result of the dates being postponed originally. Although Peter has been through his health battles, the Bolton icon seems to have come out the other side, and we can’t wait for even more opportunities to shout “GARLIC BREAD” and finish lyrics completely wrong.
When will Peter Kay play Bolton’s Albert Halls?
- Saturday 11th July (Evening)
- Thursday 9th July (Evening)
- Friday 10th July (Evening)
- Saturday 11th July (Matinee)
