Best. News. Ever!
One of the North West’s finest, Peter Kay has confirmed he’s returning to work with live show Dance For Life.
Raising money for Cancer Research UK, the new series of shows will see the much-loved comedian return to our lives with a number of dates across the UK. Kay is set to DJ for the charity dance-a-thon, with three hours of fun hosted by the man himself.
Speaking of the event, Kay said:
“I’ve honestly never had so much fun as I had working on Dance for Life. The atmosphere was so happy and positive; it really is a great way to raise money for the worthiest of causes.
“All people have to do is turn up and dance. I’d also like to encourage people to get themselves sponsored via justgiving.com where a special Dance For Life team page has been set up”.
The show will run across six dates in Manchester, Liverpool and London, with the full tour schedule below:
10th April 2020 – Manchester Central
11th April 2020 – Manchester Central
8th May 2020 – Liverpool “Space” by M&S Arena
9th May 2020 – Liverpool “Space” by M&S Arena

Peter Kay left the public eye back in 2018, last seen on Peter Kay’s Comedy Shuffle which ran for three series between 2016 and 2018. Kay was also set to perform in a live tour, which was suddenly cancelled back in 2017 due to ‘unforeseen family circumstances’.
Tickets for Dance For Life go on sale Friday 28 February with all profits donated to Cancer Research UK, and you can also get involved with the fundraising via the show’s JustGiving page here.
