‘Tis the season to just be done with 2020.
It’s been a rough year, to say the least, and with only Christmas remaining as a redeeming factor for an otherwise wasted year, it’s not surprising that people have had enough and put their Christmas trees up already. And I’m not one to judge either, since I’ve already been blasting Heart Xmas and making pan after pan of homemade fudge and mulled wine.
Decking the halls with boughs of holly and transforming their living rooms into Winter Wonderlands, celebrities and normal folk alike have been taking to social media this weekend to show off their festive-themed homes, with Christmas trees, OTT doorways and lengths and lengths of twinkling lights cosying up their homes for the month-long lockdown. Just take a look for yourself…
Michelle Keegan and husband Mark Wright showed off their absolutely massive Christmas tree this weekend, going all out ahead of Christmas with a grand entrance complete with giant nutcrackers and huge swirled candy decorations to match the festive theme.
Queer Eye‘s Tan France also got in on the action, showing off his cosy Christmas decor before telling his followers ‘haters back off!!’. Don’t worry Tan, we’re fully on board with this one.

Corrie’s Alan Halsall, known for his role as Tyrone, got in on the festive cheer with his family – putting up a huge Christmas tree in his hallway.
I put up the new Christmas tree I bought today (because fuck 2020, I want extra Christmas) and now we have a problem called Caitlin Has No Spatial Reasoning and Bought a Tree That Is Far Too Large For Our Apartment
Like yeah this thing is gorgeous but now we have NO SPACE 😂 pic.twitter.com/X9jddx2EK1— 💖Caitlin (@atheatrephile) November 9, 2020
A perfect evening putting up the Christmas tree and sending my mom deeper down the Gilmore Girls rabbit hole. ❤🎄 pic.twitter.com/sieSvdlJ3N
