A scenic lakeside attraction on the edge of Greater Manchester has opened a new summer walk, complete with a sandy beach, pedalos and plenty of family-friendly extras.
Partridge Lakes Cafe and Park in Culcheth, Warrington, has launched the new Partridge Park Walk after previously hosting a Springland event over the Easter holidays.
The new dog-friendly trail is pram and wheelchair accessible, with views across the water, picnic spots, and a relaxed setting designed for all ages.
Visitors can hire colourful character pedalos including unicorn, flamingo and dragon designs for £15 per 20-minute session. They are available on selected dates between 10am and 2pm, and can be booked online.

Along the route, guests will find a sandy beach, benches, picnic benches, giant games such as Connect 4 and Kerplunk, and new refreshment huts serving food and drink.
There is also a bar on site, while the main Partridge Lakes Café remains open daily and is dog-friendly inside and out.
The attraction’s owners said they had worked hard to create more for 2026, including the new trail, additional refreshment outlets and the new pedalo fleet.
They said the lakes were looking “absolutely stunning” in the spring sunshine and promised visitors a memorable summer experience.
How to get to Partridge Park Walk

Partridge Park Walk is open daily from 7.30am to 5pm, while the main café opens daily from 7.30am to 4.30pm, with last hot food served at 3pm. The site will also host the Cheshire Wellness Festival on June 28, adding to its summer appeal.
