If you’re looking for an alternative to your kids bouncing off the walls at home during the school holidays, then this huge inflatable park is the place. Family venture Open Air Bounce is located in Over Hulton, Bolton and is back for the Easter holidays, and it should keep the kids entertained during their free time.
Open Air Bounce was founded by local Leighton Mills, who, alongside his dad Darren, wife Sarah and step-mum Paula, wanted to make use of the 68 acres of land at Umberton Farm and help the local community in some way.
The founders said, “We’re aware that most families are on a budget at the moment, and a trip to Open Air Bounce is a treat. That’s why you’re in control of spending and your ticket price includes all the inflatables plus your parking – the only extra costs are any fairground rides, food and drink.”

What to expect at Open Air Bounce in Bolton
Packed full of bouncy castles, slides, obstacle and assault courses, the Bolton park has 15 different inflatables, aiming to provide kids of all ages with lots of opportunities to play, bounce and burn off some energy. The park is open to all ages but provides the option of a separate area for under-fours, and welcomes adults to join in on the fun alongside their kids. They’ve even created a beach, complete with sand, deckchairs, buckets and spades for those warmer days when you don’t feel like slogging to the nearest coast.
Open Air Bounce has also added some fairground rides to the fun. Attractions such as roundabouts and a carousel, as well as fairground-style lights and music, bring thrills and excitement to your day, and it’s all designed for young bouncers to enjoy in a safe outdoor environment.

The company also works with local catering companies and suppliers to make sure that there’s a good range of food and drink available before, during and after your bouncing play session. Whether it’s a relaxed coffee and breakfast roll for parents or a quick drink and energy boost for your young bouncers, they’ve got options for everyone.
What happens if it rains?
Obviously, outdoor inflatables are not safe for young bouncers to use during wet weather conditions. So if the weather’s not going to be good, your session at Open Air Bounce will be cancelled with as much notice as possible. We will send you a message and a QR code to enable you to rebook for a different time.
