If you’re feeling supersonic about the Oasis reunion, you might have already been getting prepared for your stay to catch the Manchester shows before you bag tickets. Following the announcement that the Gallagher brothers would be playing shows together once again, the internet has been gripped by frenzy and fret; experiencing elation at the reunion and sheer panic about getting tickets and somewhere to stay on the night of shows. So much so that researchers have found that hotel prices for each tour date, including those in Manchester, have skyrocketed before tickets for the Oasis reunion tour have even gone on sale.
A study by JeffBet analysed the average hotel prices in each city on the tour, identifying the average cost of a one-night stay over the weekend preceding the tour date in each city. Then, the average hotel price for a one-night stay over the tour weekend was compared to determine the estimated price difference for those travelling across the country to see the band on stage 16 years after their split.
Hotel availability already appears to be dwindling following the tour announcement, with Booking.com stating ‘90% [or more] properties are unavailable’ for the relevant dates across the UK and Ireland when searching for accommodation on the website. Therefore, concertgoers will need to act fast if they want to secure a hotel room near the venues.
As a result of this increased demand, the analysis estimates that the average price of hotel stays during the tour dates surged across all locations. The most significant increase was identified in Oasis’ home city of Manchester, where hotel prices have soared by an average of 464% across the 11, 12, 19 and 20 July 2025 concert dates, compared to a typical July weekend.
In the city, the highest price increase compared to an average stay was found to be on Sunday 20th July 2025. Prices are estimated to have increased by a staggering 554%, from £98 per night to £641 per night on average, for the tour’s final night in Manchester.
But it’s not just hotel prices in Manchester that have soared astronomically for Oasis tour dates as Cardiff hotel stays were also found to have spiked, on average, 354% over the 4 and 5 July 2025, when the Welsh capital hosts the tour. The analysis identified that the average price for a one-night stay on the preceding weekend was around £200 per night, but prices may rise as high as £1,000 on Saturday, 4 July 2025.
Similarly, the study identified that Edinburgh hotel stays may cost up to 291% more than the average August weekend stay in the Scottish capital when the reunion tour arrives in the city.
Tickets for the 2025 Oasis reunion shows go on sale Saturday 31st August, 8am in Ireland and 9am in the UK with most major ticketing outlets.
