Fancy a day out for less? Well, train operator Northern has launched a flash sale with three million tickets for journeys across the North of England available from just £2 for a limited time only.
Bargain tickets are available for journeys from Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria, offering train trips from £2 to Northern towns and cities stretching from the Lakes to the Peaks. Better still, you can make even bigger savings a the rail company is offering half price children’s tickets available for £1 (and under 5s are free).
When is the Northern Flash Sale taking place?
The train operator has released three million £2 tickets which are on sale from 8am on Tuesday 30 September here. The Flash Sale runs for three days and closes on Thursday 2nd October.
Where can I travel to with my discounted rail tickets?
The top destinations with the most tickets available in Northern’s Flash Sale are to the following places:
Manchester, Leeds, Bolton, Preston, Manchester Airport, Blackpool North, Shipley, Rochdale, Stockport, Bradford, Sheffield, Wigan Wallgate, Hebden Bridge, Blackburn, Meadowhall, Liverpool Lime Street, Skipton, Wilmslow, Doncaster, Ilkley, Hull and Wakefield Westgate.

Tickets will be available to buy on Northern’s app, online, at ticket offices and on ticket machines at stations managed by Northern.
