Guinness has become increasingly popular over the last few years, with even the likes of Kim Kardashian trying a pint of the black stuff. With demand outweighing supply, the UK has seen a shortage of the Irish stout, with some pubs even doling out Guinness ration cards to keep the taps going for longer. However, despite the supposed lack of Guinness in the country, one Manchester pub, No Vacancy, has launched an offer on Guinness during one of the bleakest months of the year, January, that is pretty hard to refuse.
The pub located on Manchester’s Bridge Street has announced that their £3 Guinness deal is back for January, which is available throughout the month, except on Saturdays. And No Vacancy said they’re pretty confident that it’s the cheapest pint of Guinness you’ll get in Manchester!

But No Vacancy has an even better offer on Guinness for those who visit the pub on a Monday. So run, don’t walk! Every Monday in January, pub-goers can get a pint of Guinness for just £2 but there is just one condition – you’ll need to be able to split the G.
For those unfamiliar with what splitting the G entails, it is a Guinness drinking technique where the beer’s top line aligns with the middle line of the letter “G” on the glass’ side logo. So you gotta gulp quite a bit of your drink in order to save those pounds.
Doing Dry Jan? If the Guinness offer at No Vacancy hasn’t steered you towards having a pint then the pub also has a selection of 0% alcohol options available too.
No Vacancy opened in Manchester towards the end of 2024, taking over the old Granada Dry Cleaners, which had been running for 65 years. As well as their Guinness deal, you can get £6 cocktails on Wednesdays and two pints of Guinness or lager for £7 all day on Sundays. The pub also has more drinks offers such as happy hours and hosts quiz nights and bandaoke.
