The hall will house more than 50 luxury and contemporary brands as well as a champagne bar.
Selfridges Trafford has opened the first phase of its new Accessories Hall due for completion at
the end of September this year. The new space gives a taste of things to come with a stunning and colourful new contemporary design and the opening of new Gucci and Prada boutiques. Both are exclusive to Selfridges in the Trafford Centre and will headline the designer offer within the new hall.
Also revealed this week are new spaces and new displays for an extensive fancy brand edit including
Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Bao Bao, BOYY, Chloe, Christian Louboutin, Elena, Ghisellini, Fendi,
Givenchy, Heron Preston, Loewe, Mansur Gavriel, MCM, Moschino, Mulberry, Off White, Saint Laurent,
Stella McCartney and Valentino.
A spokesman for Intu said when completed, the new Accessories Hall will increase in size by 30 per cent to house more than 50 luxury and contemporary brands, many of which are exclusive to Selfridges in the Intu Trafford Centre. The new space will offer an exciting mix of handbags, small leather goods, luggage, jewellery and hair accessories, as well as a number of new services.
Opening in July, along with a new contemporary accessory offering, the hall will welcome a
Champagne and cocktail bar hosted by San Carlo. The all-day venue will serve an expertly curated
champagne, prosecco, wine and cocktail list, with more than ten choices of champagne and
prosecco served by the glass or bottle, alongside a menu of charcuterie and shellfish plates.
The new services will be unveiled in the third and last phase of the sequenced opening of the new
Accessories Hall. An events programme is also due to be announced in the second half of the year,
giving Selfridges shoppers dedicated and personalised brand experiences.
The transformation of the Accessories department forms part of Selfridges’ Trafford Masterplan which
last year saw the unveiling of a new Beauty Hall complete with 170 brands.
