No, you’re not imagining it. NERF (yes, exactly the one you’re thinking of), is set to open up the NERF Action Xperience, their first entertainment centre in the UK, in Trafford Palazzo in August.
The opening marks the start of a five-year plan to introduce these venues across the UK which will provide a variety of NERF fuelled indoor activities. It’s fun for all ages so whether you’ve got young kids, fancy a change of pace for date night, or just want to have some fun with friends this is one for you. But what does all this actually mean?
Well, it means you’ll be treated to a 35,000 sq ft venue that contains five unique zones including three thrilling, thematic mission rooms to explore the ultimate NERF adventures in. First, there’s the training zone for anyone who wants to practice their sharpshooting skills before they really get into the mix.
Then there’s the competition zone, which allows groups to battle it out with different NERF blasters in three immersive themed arenas. Finally, there is the sports zone that features a huge atrium of NERF-related sports challenges including basketball and football volley.
Need that little bit extra to convince you? Well, NERF also has quite the scran in store with food on site from the one and only Archie’s.
The iconic pink restaurant will be bringing its American styled dining to the NERF Action Xperience. So whether you’ve worked up an appetite running around the experience or are there for a celebration, your food and drink needs are sorted.
