What can I expect at NERF Action Xperience?
Taking over 35,000 square feet in Trafford Palazzo, Manchester will be the first city in the UK to experience this thrilling action-packed playground for all ages. NERF is treating fans to a wonderland of indoor activities, with five different zones where you can face off against foes (aka friends and family), brush up on your sharpshooter skills and get your blood-pumping playing all sorts of high-energy sports – with names like Velocity Volley, Basketball Blitz and Crazy Climb, you know this is not your average P.E-at-school, friendlies-on-the-field kinda games.
You might want to brush up on your favourite action flicks beforehand because this is your chance to channel your inner Ethan Hunt with his arm-slicing runs and mission (impossible) plans, or John Wick with his slick-as-hell shootout skills or even Uma Thurman’s The Bride if you’re looking for a bit of ruthless revenge on a brother who stole the remote one too many times. There are three immersive arenas to put your skills to the test; wielding NERF blasters and outwitting opponents on themed battlegrounds. If you’re in dire need of an adrenaline fix, this should hit the spot.
Once you’ve had a slice of NERF heaven you’re probably gonna be peckish. Pink-drenched diner Archie’s is at hand, serving up a delicious American-inspired menu which includes burgers, shakes and waffles. Everything you need for a bit of refuelling. The UK’s first NERF-dedicated retail store will also be there for any NERF needs, the perfect place to pick up a memento of the experience. So there you have it, a fun-filled day out completely sorted, the only thing left is to grab tickets.
