Although we’re heading firmly towards Christmas, next year’s festivals are most definitely something we’re looking forward to. With Glastonbury having its annual free-for-all, and line-ups being announced left, right and centre, it only seems right that our very own Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington gets in on the action, and the 2025 festival line-up is shaping up pretty well.
The first wave of acts for Neighbourhood Weekender 2025 has been announced, with headliners including Manchester’s James and The Lathums, and icons including Stereophonics and The Wombats. Other notable names on the line-up include Irish band Inhaler, the iconic Ocean Colour Scene, Scottish songstress Amy Macdonald, rap legend Dizzee Rascal, Irish country-pop sensation CMAT, and so many more.
The 2025 festival will take place over the weekend of Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th May, and there are plenty more acts to be announced. As usual, Neighbourhood Weekender 2025 tickets will be available for presale for those with a WA1-WA5 postcode, given the festival takes place at Victoria Park in Warrington, which will be held on Wednesday 20th November 9.30am.
Indie band from Wigan, The Lathums, expressed their joy at the announcement, saying on Instagram: “We are beyond excited to announce we are playing at @nbhdweekender next year!”, and Sunday headliners Stereophonics are also clearly over the moon, saying: “We’re headlining Warrington’s Neighbourhood Weekender (@nbhdweekender)!! 🤘 Catch us there on the 25th of May.”
Past names on the line-up have included the likes of Courteeners, The Kooks, Reverend and the Makers, and Scouting For Girls, so we hope to see any number of these British acts coming to Warrington next May bank holiday – and of course those from further afield.
General sale for Neighbourhood Weekender 2025 will start on Friday 22nd November at 9.30am here.
