The National Basketball Association (NBA) previously announced that the New Orleans Pelicans and the San Antonio Spurs will play a regular-season game at Co-op Live in Manchester on Sunday 17 January, 2027, as part of the league’s multiyear slate of regular-season games in Europe. The teams will also play at the Accor Arena in Paris on Thursday 14 January, 2027.
It has now been announced that tickets will go on sale next month, with a chance to be at one of these rare European games being the hottest ticket in town come September.
The matchup and milestones
This event marks the Pelicans’ first appearance in both France and England. Their roster is highlighted by All-Stars Zion Williamson and Dejounte Murray, alongside Rising Stars Jeremiah Fears and Derik Queen.
The defending Western Conference champion Spurs will be playing their sixth game in France and first in England. They feature French phenom and Defensive Player of the Year Victor Wembanyama, backed by All-Stars De’Aaron Fox, Stephon Castle, and Dylan Harper.
Historically, this will be the NBA’s sixth regular-season game in Paris and the first ever in Manchester. Beyond the on-court action, both host cities will feature interactive fan activities, Jr. NBA youth clinics, and NBA Cares community initiatives focused on wellness and sustainability.
Ticketing and registration
To manage high demand and deter unauthorised resellers, tickets will be allocated through a randomised draw. Fans must register by Sunday 6 September here for Manchester, or here for Paris. Selected fans will receive a unique code to purchase tickets before general sales open:
- Paris Tickets: Go on sale Tuesday 15 September at 12pm CET.
- Manchester Tickets: Go on sale Thursday 17 September at 12pm BST.
