My Cookie Dough has created two gorgeously gooey desserts for Easter.
For those of us with a sweet-tooth, Easter is like a second Christmas which sees our Aprils sprinkled with a variety of chocolate goodies from the classic egg to extravagant desserts. And this Easter, the team at My Cookie Dough have dreamt up two limited edition products that promise to deliver on both flavour and imagination.
The Arndale-based store, which specializes in outrageously indulgent baked cookie dough desserts, has come up with two products celebrating the UK’s favourite gooey chocolate egg, the Creme Egg.
The Creme Egg Brownie promises a triple chocolate brownie cookie dough base, with a melted creme egg on top and a sprinkling of Mini Eggs for added crunch. And the star of the season is sure to be the store’s heavenly version of the scotch egg. The Instagram-friendly masterpiece is made up of a molten creme egg, which is wrapped in cookie dough and coated in Lotus Biscoff. The whole thing is then baked to create a crispy dough egg with a creme egg yolk that spills out when it’s sliced in half.
My Cookie Dough founder Angie Gewargis said of her creations:
“Easter is always an exciting time of year for us at My Cookie Dough and gives us a chance to really lay with our product development.
“We like to challenge ourselves to create something spectacular for our fans, and this year is no different.
“I believe we have come up with one of our coolest desserts yet, so we can’t wait to release them on April 5th.”
The limited edition desserts will be on sale from 5-23 April 5-23. The Crème Egg Brownie will be available in all stores, while the Scotch’d Crème Egg will be exclusive to Manchester Arndale.
