If you know your nigiri from your nori, then we have a real treat for you. A much-loved food festival is returning to Manchester from April 21–23, and the best part? It’s fully dedicated to the king of Japanese cuisine: SUSHI. The Manchester Sushi Festival is back!
Taking place at the huge Audacious space on Trinity Way, The Manchester Sushi Festival has some of the freshest catches in town all under one roof for the occasion, creating the best sushi the city has to offer for you to gorge on.
All of your favourites will be available to scran, with nigiri, California rolls, sashimi, tempura and much, much more – accompanied by Japanese beers, ramen and curry dishes, and even sushi rolling workshops to help you master your skills. Vegans can also rest assured they’ll be catered for here, with a number of vendors whipping up fish and dairy-free sushi options to enjoy! Meanwhile, say “Konnichiwa!” to a whole host of brilliant accompaniments, with Japanese inspired art classes, fashion pop-ups, live music and DJs all on offer too.
Tickets are on sale now for as little as £15pp. Each ticket includes access to a live sushi-making demonstration. Get yours here.
