Seven Free Bonfire Night Celebrations Happening In Manchester

Remember remember…

Bonfire Night is almost here and, as always, it’s the neighbourhood fools who are the first to get on it, setting off fireworks at half two in the afternoon and burning anything that isn’t nailed down. But, if that hasn’t put you off the whole thing, a night of funfairs, toffee apples, cinder toffee and socially acceptable pyromania awaits at one of these Bonfire Night celebrations.

Heaton Park

Manchester City Council has shared some safety advice ahead of the events. A spokesman for the council said:

“Stay safe, searches will be in place. We advise you to leave your bags at home in order to minimise delays and to arrive early, to avoid disappointment. Please do not bring your own fireworks or alcohol as these will be confiscated. Wear appropriate clothing and bring a torch. Parking on site is limited, so we are encouraging people to use public transport. Drones are not permitted on site or by aerial during the event, so please leave them at home.”
