Retro video game collectors, board game fanatics and fans of gaming from past to present are in for a treat next month as Manchester’s biggest retro gaming market is set to return to our fair city.
On September 1 The Manchester Gaming Market will pop up at Sugden Sport Centre in Grosvenor St, bringing together thousands of gamers and collectors from the region, giving fans the chance to hunt for hidden gems from the gaming world.
Returning to a new venue, and with even more exhibitors, guests will be able to look through hundreds of tables of iconic memorabilia. With items will ranging from classic video games, consoles and import games, to board games, game-inspired clothing, magazines, retro toys and custom-made artwork.
The market is managed by Replay Events, and follows on from the earlier success of PLAY Expo, which was held in May and saw thousands of people turn out to the North’s biggest video games event.
