Mancs took to the streets this weekend to protest on behalf of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Holding protests on both Saturday and Sunday, Mancunians participated in the global campaign against systematic racism, joining together with signs of solidarity and condemning racism in peaceful protests that took place in both Piccadilly Garden’s and St. Peter’s Square. The protest saw areas such as Market Street and Piccadilly Gardens swarmed with signs of hope, love and power, with people of all races turning out for the important human rights cause. Locals took to Instagram to share powerful images from the event, marking a truly momentous occasion which will go down in the history books.
