To help you find the perfect spot to enjoy the match, Live Football Tickets analysed pubs across England to identify the best cities for an unforgettable viewing experience – and Manchester is taking home the title as the top spot. In order to calculate the rankings, the football ticket marketplace analysed the number of pubs per capita, the rating of these pubs, how many sell food, the average number of screens per pub, and whether or not they also show commentary.
Manchester was crowned the best city in England for watching the final of the Euros this Sunday, with a pub score of 8.8 out of 10. According to the study’s results, the city is home to the highest number of pubs with screens in the country, with five screens per pub. The study also found that over half of Manchester pubs, 66%, also provide live commentary on match days.

Coming in second place behind Manchester as the best city to watch the Euros was Newcastle with a total pub score of 8.75 out of 10. Famous for its nightlife, the North East city lives up to its reputation with a high average pub rating of 3.9 out of five.
In third place was Bristol with a total pub score of 8.67 out of 10. Bristol is said to boast the highest percentage of pubs with commentary in the country at 77%, giving fans the chance to really immerse themselves in the action.
