Jobseekers will get the chance to explore a wide range of career opportunities across the aviation sector at a Manchester Airport jobs fair, with recruiters looking to fill around 300 vacancies. The free event at The Forum, Wythenshawe, on Wednesday 4 November will connect jobseekers with employers operating across Manchester Airport.
Manchester Airports Group (MAG), which owns and operates Manchester Airport as well as East Midlands and London Stansted Airports, will be advertising vacancies including airport security, hospitality and terminal operations roles.
Other positions available with airport-based employers range from ground handling and passenger assistance to retail, catering, construction, recruitment, logistics and aviation support services.

With around 300 vacancies at the moment, there are opportunities for people with a wide range of skills and experience.

The Airport Academy, which is run in partnership by Manchester Airport and Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG), will also be in attendance promoting its free pre-employment support programmes. These include fully accredited training schemes for people seeking support before applying for airport roles.
The jobs fair will take place between 10am and 2pm, with attendees encouraged to bring copies of their CV and be prepared to speak directly with recruiting employers.
Jobseekers securing roles with MAG can take advantage of a wide range of benefits.
