Little Simz took the world by storm a few years ago, representing a new generation of British grime and rap. Now, Little Simz is bringing her unique sound to Manchester’s Co-op Live, in support of her highly anticipated sixth studio album, ‘Lotus‘ – set for release on June 6th, featuring the two recently unveiled singles Free and Flood.
Little Simz will be taking to the Co-op Live stage on Thursday 16th October to the delight of fans. It’ll be the first time Simz has performed in Manchester since she topped the bill of our very own Warehouse Project in 2022, which brought a whole new element to Warehouse, and she’s set to be the perfect match for Co-op Live.
Little Simz is a boundary-breaking musician and cultural curator, recognised as one of the UK’s most captivating and visionary artists. A multi-award winner – collecting Brit Awards, MOBOs, and an Ivor Novello – across mixtapes, EPs, and five critically acclaimed albums, Simz’ music documents her story, her journey, her becoming – and in turn, her generation.
In 2023, she continued to carve her own lane as an acclaimed actor, returning in the final series of the Netflix drama Top Boy. Little Simz’s 2024 performance on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage further defined her reputation as an inimitable live performer and one of the most celebrated British artists, so her show in Manchester is most definitely not one to miss.
