Le Social Wine has managed to make quite the name for itself over the past year, not only finding success with its lockdown-founded wine shop, but also with the highly-rated Kampus pop-up, which took over the new social hotspot over the summer months of last year.
Now, in its second year of business, Le Social Wine is expanding further – opening Manchester’s ‘smallest wine bar’ in their quaint Pollen Yard shipping container, a location they’ve called home for almost two years now.
Transforming from a tiny wine shop to an intimate, casual wine bar every Saturday between 2pm and 8pm, the new era for Le Social Wine began earlier this year – seeing guests served some of the city’s very best natural wines by the glass or the bottle, alongside continental small plates and deli boards, which make the perfect pairing for a night of vino.
The best part? Guests can enjoy all drinks at retail price rather than a hiked up bar price, with just a £5 corkage fee added at the end.
The ever-changing wine menu will feature some of the very best low-intervention and natural wines on the market at that time, many of which are made by both local and European small-scale producers. For those who fancy something more specific, guests will also be able to choose from the shelves and wine fridges, too.
The relatively new bar makes for a fantastic new addition at “Manchester’s newest and edgiest art, culture and craft scene”, which is also home to Cocoa and Bloom Chocolatiers and Palms Bakery.
Le Social Wine Shop & Bar can be found at Container 147, Pollard Yard, 15 Pollard Street East, M40 7QX and you can book your table here.
