What could be more romantic than cosying up in front of a movie with your Valentine?

If you’re struggling with the perfect date idea for Valentine’s this year then you’re in luck, because one of Manchester’s swankiest hotels is hosting a romantic evening under their roof with some of the most romantic movies you could think of.

King Street Townhouse will host a number of screenings throughout February in their intimate 20-person screening room, which is decked out with plush, comfy seating, romantic lighting and of course, a luxury big screen.

Marking the month of romance, there’s plenty of romantic films to choose from – which will all be accompanied by chocolate-covered strawberries, rosé champagne and cosy blankets to snuggle up with. Here’s the schedule for the month:

Friday 21 Feb, 17:30 – Dirty Dancing
Saturday 22 Feb, 17:30 – Pretty Woman

Guests can also book in for a romantic meal in the hotel’s restaurant, The Tavern, which will be serving up “comforting homemade food” for the evening with soft lighting and comfy booths to cosy up in with your loved one.
