We Mancs are well aware of Kimpton Clocktower as a landmark on Oxford Road, previously the Principal, and the Refuge before that, but now the hotel company has found that one third of global consumers feel their current travel style, or personal needs, are not being met by travel brands. As a result, ‘Stay Human‘ Concierge Kimpton is launching a series of bookable packages that allow guests to explore more about who they are, what they like and what makes them feel most authentically human.
The survey included responses from more than 4,000 people from Australia, Japan, the U.K. and the U.S. and found an overwhelming need for more authentic and varied travel content as well as a high demand for travel brands to do more to feature inclusive and diverse content creators and experiences.
The ‘Stay Human’ bespoke packages include a range of unexpected experiences, from private perfumery classes and sound bath healings to on-demand elixir shots and self-defense classes, ensuring there’s truly something for everyone.
Kathleen Reidenbach, Kimpton’s Chief Commercial Officer said: “Kimpton has always been rooted in human connection and delivering experiences that meet the needs of every kind of traveler. Today, we are taking action to directly address an area of opportunity that consumers uncovered – the travel industry can do more to cater to the diverse needs of travelers – with bespoke experiences at our hotels that allow our guests to chart their own course and be their most authentic selves when they stay with us.
“These offerings are just the beginning as we continue to bring Kimpton’s evolved brand commitments to life and change the way we work with creators, the imagery we share and the experiences we offer.”
Although these ‘Stay Human’ packages are being implemented all over the country, and the world, Manchester is likely to be a valuable source of feedback, because, of course, we do things differently here. So whether you’re coming to Manchester from far and wide, or a local looking for a staycation, Kimpton’s ‘Stay Human’ package could be just what you’re looking for.
