If you’re sick of Christmas being everywhere, 1. cheer up, Scrooge… and 2. this news is for you! Popular juice and coffee bar Joe & The Juice is set to return to the centre of Manchester after agreeing to lease a new space at Manchester Arndale, hitting the town early next year.
Joe & The Juice will occupy the 2,685 sq ft former EE unit on Cross Street after signing a 10 year lease. The new letting at Manchester Arndale will see Joe & The Juice return to the city centre after its previous location in Debenhams closed following the collapse of the retailer – bringing Mancs their viral Tunacado sandwiches and delectable coffee and juice.
Founded in 2002, the Danish-based business has established a chain of over 300 juice bars and coffee shops across 64 locations around the world. The cafes serve a mix of healthy juice drinks and coffees as well as a variety of sandwiches and snacks, making it a go-to destination for those looking for a meeting spot across UK city centres, whether you’re working from home or meeting a friend.
The arrival of Joe & The Juice further strengthens Manchester Arndale’s café and restaurant line up following the recent arrivals of Michael’s Coffee House, HOP Vietnamese, Sides, Creams, Black Sheep Coffee, and Lazy Sundae. This diverse offering complemented by a strong retail and leisure mix continues to ensure Manchester Arndale offers something for everyone making it a go-to destination for visitors from across the North West.
Scott Linard, Portfolio Manager for M&G Real Estate, said: “It is great to welcome Joe & The Juice back to Manchester city centre. They have built a brand which has become synonymous with meeting spots across UK towns and cities, so we expect them to thrive at Manchester Arndale thanks to our close proximity to city centre businesses and students keen to catch up over a bite to eat.
“Joe & The Juice adds to our already strong F&B mix as we strive to create a full day out experience for visitors to Manchester Arndale.”
There’s no news on an opening date for Joe & The Juice in Manchester just yet, but we’re expecting it to be early next year, and will of course keep you updated.
