Now, iconic Jellycat Fish & Chips characters are launching at both Selfridges Manchester Trafford and Selfridges Manchester Exchange Square for the first time today (Monday 17th February) – and they’re truly adorable.
Previously only available as part of the Jellycat Fish & Chips Van experience in Selfridges London, fans in Manchester can now bring home Lily Fish, Cosy Chips, and Dot and Peggy Mushy Peas from both the Trafford Centre and Exchange Square Selfridges stores in Manchester. Also making a grand entrance at the new locations are Salty Steve, Vinny Vinegar, and Clemont Lemon—the most charming condiments around—along with the charismatic Charlie Chip in his iconic flat cap.
These whimsical characters quickly became a global sensation, with fans visiting Selfridges London from all corners of the world to capture their moments at the Jellycat Fish & Chips Van. Since its launch in July 2024, the Fish & Chips London experience has taken social media by storm, with countless videos showcasing the joy and charm of the collection, solidifying the exclusive Fish & Chips crew as true Jellycat icons.
The Fish & Chips characters are available to buy at each of the Jellycat General Stores with their own dedicated display spaces. Selfridges Manchester Exchange Square debuts its own Jellycat General Store on 17th February — following the Manchester Trafford location, which opened to great excitement at the end of 2024.
The General Store concept brings Jellycat’s whimsical world to life, with colourful shop-style shelving and imaginative displays that make finding a new Jellycat friend an adventure in itself. Plus, larger-than-life Jellycat favourites will be making their mark.
Amuseables Charlie Chip lands in Selfridges Manchester Trafford today (17th February), and Chip Seagull will swoop into Selfridges Manchester Exchange at the end of February. These oversized characters make for the ultimate photo moment—perfect for snapping memories with your new Jellycat friend!
