Manchester’s Victoria Baths is hosting the ultimate Halloween cinema experience.
The glorious grade II listed swimming pool and Turkish Baths complex has partnered up with The Village Screen to present three nights of spooktacular film screening, kicking off with Steven Spielberg’s masterpiece Jaws on Thursday (October 25). YES Jaws in a swimming pool, how messed up/wonderful is that?
Jaws will be followed by the 80s vampire thriller, The Lost Boys on Friday (October 26) and the family-friendly classic, The Witches on Saturday (October 27). All three films will be screened in the Edwardian splendour of Victoria Baths, where the tall, stained glass windows and eerily gloomy corridors create the perfect Halloween setting.
Ahead of the screenings, DJs will be spinning top Halloween classics alongside magical Halloween theming (fancy dress is strongly encouraged). And Some of the North’s finest street food vendors will be serving up fantastic Autumnal grub, while The Village Screen bar will be serving a selection of beers, cocktails, wines, Prosecco, soft drinks and, of course, fresh popcorn.
Tickets are priced between £13 and £15 and are available here.
