I can’t wait to get a pitta this…
One of the greatest things in life, hummus, is about to get its own dedicated restaurant in Manchester thanks to Yorkshire-born hummus pro’s, Humpit.

Originating in Leeds as a street vendor, Humpit has seen major success since it’s 2014 debut, expanding across the country in more Yorkshire locations, the South and even Scotland. And now, it’s Manchester’s turn to enjoy their delicious Greek creations. Everything is hummus-filled and vegan at this upcoming hotspot – even stocking vegan brownies if you like to finish your lunch off with something sweet.

The chain has huge ambitions for 2020, and it’s Manchester opening is just the very start of huge expansions for Humpit. Confirming on their website, their Manchester restaurant will ‘showcase a brand new Humpit offering that will really suit the business community’.
Students of the city will be well acquainted already, with Humpit running a pop-up on-site at the university union. The new location, however, means the rest of us Mancunians get to enjoy a mouthful of hummus, too!

The vegan food spot has secured a space on Brown Street, near St Anne’s Square, and is set to open its doors this April. They’ll be serving up some of their much-loved meals such as hummus filled pittas, hummus salads and hummus bowls filled with chickpeas and falafel.
Humpit currently has 11 sites across the country, with Manchester Brown Street set to be it’s twelfth.
