The shirt that David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, George Best, Eric Cantona, Steve Coppell and Bryan Robson made famous now has its very own corner of Stretford. Hotel Football, the four-star hotel directly opposite Old Trafford, has opened seven new No.7 Rooms, each dedicated to a player who wore Manchester United’s most storied number.
What to expect inside the new No.7 rooms at Hotel Football
Every room features specially commissioned artwork by illustrator Simon Painter, player statistics, career highlights and football memorabilia. Plus, Manchester United fans can look out towards the “Theatre of Dreams” from Hotel Football’s windows.

Each room tells the story of its player through numbers, images and keepsakes, so a stay doubles as a short history lesson on United’s No.7 lineage. Better yet, you’ll find fridges stocked with complimentary retro sweets waiting on arrival.
The rooms suit supporters who want to get closer to the club’s history, whether they are in town for a match or planning a football-themed weekend in Manchester. With the hotel sitting right by the ground, matchday travel is just a short walk away.

From dining in Cafe Football to scoring goals on the rooftop pitch: “The experience continues beyond the No.7 Rooms”
Jess Southworth, Sales & Marketing Director at Hotel Football, said: “Manchester United’s No.7 shirt is synonymous with some of the biggest names and moments in the club’s history, so we wanted to create a stay that brings that legacy to life.
“From the artwork and memorabilia to the views across Old Trafford, there are details throughout the rooms that we hope will give supporters something to discover and enjoy during their stay. The experience continues beyond the No.7 Rooms, where we welcome guests to dine in Cafe Football or head up to Heaven to score a few goals on our rooftop pitch overlooking the Theatre of Dreams.”

Prices start from £129 per night, and the rooms are open for booking now. Check availability and room details via the Hotel Football website here.
