Ravers and groovers, rejoice, because Homobloc is officially back in Manchester this December, with all the queer joy and absolute bangers you’d expect. Evolving from its previous incarnations, the legendary all-inclusive block party will once again unite artists, performers, spectators, and clubbers in a space where freedom and self-expression rule the dancefloor – featuring their most exciting and diverse line-up yet.
On Saturday 6th December, Homobloc returns to the iconic Depot Mayfield for its sixth edition. 2025 has been another monumental year for the team at Homobloc, from hosting a series of one-off events with the likes of Romy and Princess Superstar, to closing Manchester International Music Festival, and more recently making its Ibiza debut at the legendary Amnesia. Renowned for its spectacular live acts, DJs and performers, the flagship event at Depot Mayfield is set to build on the success of the year so far.

Showcasing next-level production and performances, Homobloc takes over the full expanse of Depot Mayfield, including the three main stages (Depot, Concourse, Archive), plus additional stages across Plant Room, the historical Star & Garter Pub and the Loft – a unique space up on the rooftop of Depot Mayfield.

Who is headlining Homobloc in Manchester?
This winter, UK pop royalty Sugababes will lead the Homobloc proceedings. Fresh from their UK and European tour, the genre-defying trio are riding high, following the success of recent releases like Jungle and Weeds. Joining them in Manchester are Homobloc favourites Honey Dijon and The Blessed Madonna, alongside Berlin-based techno powerhouse and creative director Patrick Mason, the iconic Ana Matronic of Scissor Sisters fame, and a rare DJ set from Gossip’s magnetic frontwoman, Beth Ditto.

Who is on the rest of the Homobloc line-up?
American singer, songwriter, and rapper Slayyyter (aka Catherine Grace Garner) will bring her bold, genre-blurring sound to the Homobloc stage, joined by a special b2b DJ set from Canadian electroclash icon Peaches and electronic tastemaker Erol Alkan. The night will also feature a live performance from acclaimed dance music project Hercules & Love Affair, as well as a set from Grammy Award-winning house legend Todd Edwards.
Further DJ sets include Sally C b2b I.Jordan, Roi Perez, Eliza Rose, Joshua James, Fat Tony, Grace Sands, and Manchester’s Aiden Francis, Gina Breeze and Kim Lana. As part of their 10th anniversary celebrations, PXSSY PALACE will transform The Plant Room with an electrifying takeover, showcasing a handpicked line-up of long-standing collaborators and trailblazers.

The night features London ballroom pioneer Jay Jay Revlon, US powerhouse DJ and producer UNIIQU3, and viral multi-genre artist Che3kz. Adding to the energy, PXSSY PALACE’s own Nadine Noor, Mya Mehmi, and Ryan Lovell will bring their signature blend of sound, style, and community spirit, turning the dance floor into a space of pure celebration, sweat, and connection.
Like in previous years, Homobloc’s billing features an array of exceptional new and emerging underground queer artists. The legendary Star & Garter Pub will welcome Berlin-based Only Fire for his debut show in Manchester. Known for their pop-up parties in unique locations across Manchester, dyke party Butch Revival will bring their northern lesbian energy to the pub, alongside Islington Mill’s trans-centred community pop club nightlife collective T4T. Jasmine.4.T will bring a special DJ set to the Star & Garter Pub this December to celebrate the beautiful journey and year she’s had.

Over in Depot Mayfield’s intimate Archive space, South Asian, Middle Eastern, and North African queer brown collective House Of Spice will bring their unique flavour alongside Manchester’s Desi LGBTQ+ collective Club Zindagi, Homobloc favourites Ghetto Fabulous and Line Dancing classes from Red Rodeo Club. Also under the arches, find spectacular live performances from Berlin-based producer Sarah Sommers, singer Babymorocco and electronic artist and activist BASHKKA.
Rod Connolly, Promoter from Homobloc, said: “We can’t wait for people to dive into our 2025 line-up of queer excellence, proudly merging global and local artists, returning friends, and scratching the underbelly of the scene to showcase the rawest talent from the queer underground. In a time of rising division, events like Homobloc matter more than ever.

“We deserve a space for our community and allies to come together and hold each other up on a dancefloor full of love and resistance. We are the beings the bastards can’t grind down and we invite everyone to join us to shake off the bullshit, recharge, realign and carry our queer power back out onto the streets of Manchester.”
