Eat as much cheese as you like at Homage2Fromage’s brie-lliant workshops.
Homage2Fromage, the monthly cheese club that launched in Manchester four years ago, is expanding its popular cheese nights due to huge demand.
The award-winning Northern cheese events company is moving its successful Manchester city centre event to a bigger venue in the Northern Quarter’s Pie and Ale and will launch a new monthly cheese night in The Woodstock in Didsbury
A spokesman for Homage2Fromage said each event will be themed (cheddar, Irish, blue etc) and guests will be able to help themselves to as much of each cheese as they like, along with crackers, bread and chutney, fruit and all kinds of accompaniments.
The cheese will be numbered (not named) and when everyone is done eating organisers will give a short presentation, discussing each cheese.
A spokesman for Homage2Fromage said:
“The aim of the club is to celebrate great cheese in an informal fun way – this is not about snobby cheese and wine tastings, it is about sharing one of the greatest foods ever, in a simple, relaxed way. Homage2Fromage helps you discover new cheese, meet like-minded cheese fans and hear some of the amazing stories behind cheese and cheesemaking.
“If you are passionate about cheese, curious about the many different kinds of cheese out there, how it’s made, where it comes from, who makes it, why something so simple can be so diverse, so versatile, so delicious – then this is the club for you.”
