Following a highly successful turnout last year, the much-anticipated Sunset Sound Bath is making a grand return to Holcombe Hill, near Ramsbottom on August 23, 2026. Promising an evening of community, nature, and crystal sound healing, this exclusive one-off event invites locals to step away from the daily grind and reconnect with one another.
Last year’s inaugural gathering drew hundreds to the hill, creating an atmosphere of laughter, dancing, and profound connection. The event’s positive impact on community well-being—and its emphasis on bringing people, especially children, back to nature—caught the imagination of many, and now organisers are hoping to recreate and expand upon that magic.
What to expect
The upcoming evening will centre around authentic human connection, live music, and a mesmerising crystal sound bath. Attendees are encouraged to participate however they feel most comfortable—whether that means dancing barefoot, singing, or simply sitting quietly to watch the sunset in a completely judgement-free space.
This year, the gathering will begin slightly later in the evening, aligning with an 8:30pm sunset. The sound bath will commence as dusk falls over the landscape, culminating in a spectacular finale under the stars as participants illuminate the hill with candlelight.
Comfort is key for this outdoor gathering. Participants are advised to bring warm layers for the chilly evening air, along with yoga mats, blankets, pillows, camping chairs, or even blow-up beds. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their own snacks and candles to help light up the hillside, though spare tea lights will be provided for those who need them.
Organized by TJ’s Reiki Healing, the event is deeply rooted in accessibility and community spirit. It operates entirely on a donation basis—via an anonymous collection pot on the night or a digital payment link—ensuring that no one is ever turned away due to financial constraints.
The gathering is open to everyone: parents, children, grandparents, and even dogs. Organiser Teresa, who notes she will once again be running around barefoot with her speaker, emphasises that the event is a heartfelt passion project designed to foster community. “This isn’t just something I do; it’s my passion, and it comes straight from the heart,” she shared.
No tickets are needed
Organisers have issued a strict reminder that this is a completely non-ticketed event and urge attendees to be wary of scammers, advising them never to purchase tickets from third parties. Official updates will only come directly from TJ’s Reiki Healing or Teresa Jackson.
